Bouldy's sister Julie and brother-in-law Ray kindly took the chance to say 'thank you' to NASC for the support we offered to Brian and his family during his illness last year. They also presented to NASC a wonderful Arsenal book which they asked the club to keep and share amongst our members. The book was intended as a christmas present for Brian, but sadly as you know Brian died shortly before Christmas. NASC is very honoured to have been given this book, and we will keep it as an open resource for members. More details about the book and how members can borrow it will appear here shortly. Julie also told us about her participation in the Cancer Research 'Race For Life'. Julie is taking part in the event, to be held in Norwich on May 4th, in memory of Bouldy. Julie is attempting to raise £500 through her part in the race. If you would like to sponsor Julie, please visit the web link below where you will find full details of the event and an easy on-line sponsorship facility. On behalf of Julie thank you for your support. http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/juliedavison1 14/03/08 AN EVENING WITH PAUL MERSON - This event is now SOLD OUT. All 70 NASC places have been taken. Bouldy died in the early hours of this morning (Thurs Dec 13th) peacefully at All Hallows after a long fight against cancer. Bouldy was a founder member of NASC and a major supporter of the club, and his work for NASC has helped us to become the club we are today. Brian organised many charity events in NASC's name, and his good humour was loved by all who were fortunate enough to meet him. We'll miss him. ![]() 28/10/07 NEXT MEMBERS MEETING - DECEMBER 2ND Please note there is NO MEMBERS MEETING IN NOVEMBER. The next members meeting is DECEMBER 2ND, usual time and venue. 28/10/07 |
